1. Be Bold in our attempts to reach more people!

• Sponsor a series of family outreach events to help strengthen the relationship between parents and young children.
• Impact teenagers through our Ignite Student Ministry and special events.
• Participate in Murray State life through sponsoring philanthropic events, Greek Sundays, and other student initiatives.

2. Be Aggressive in our attempts to meet more needs!

• increase our financial funding to Need Line to assist them in helping lower income families.
• Feeding 300 elementary and middle school children for one month by participating in Need Line's Backpack Program.
• Collecting food and hygiene products to resource Need Line as they provide food for 1,000 families in our county every month.

3. Be Fearless in our attempts to change more lives!

• Create a new campus in Marshall County that unchurched people love to attend.
• Fund the start-up costs ($100,000) for the new campus.
• Launch the campus when we meet our four milestones (for more info, visit www.MarshallCountyMatters.com).

What will it take?
These three initiatives will require an additional $144,000 above our 2011 budget. To put that in perspective, we would need an average $7500 in giving to fund all our environments, ministries, and missions initiatives next year.

How can I be a part?
It will take all of us working and participating together with God to make these dreams a reality. Specifically, we need you to do three things:

1. Pray for God to guide and provide!
2. Participate in three special offerings in 2012.
3. Prioritize giving sacrificially in 2012!

What's my next step?
On Sunday, December 4th, you can turn in a Giving Card letting us know how much you intend to give over the next twelve months. You can also begin your increased giving that day. In addition, we will receive the first of our three Mission Possible special offerings and get this initiative off to a strong start!

What's next?
We believe God is leading us to pursue launching a second campus and move towards becoming a multi-site church. A multi-site church is one church which has worship services at multiple locations. While this is a newer concept for our region, over five million people in the U.S. currently attend a multi-site church.

Why Multi-Site?
God has called us to created a church unchurched people love to attend and help those people become fully devoted followers of Jesus. This kind of church isn't only needed in Calloway County but throughout our region. In most counties in Western KY, over 50% of the population is unchurched. We believe the multi-site strategy is the vehicle which God may use to leverage our ability to reach those people.

How does multi-site work?
First, the new church campus will be as much a part of The Journey as teh Calloway campus is. All environments of the new campus will be identical to the Calloway campus. In other words, there will be Takeoff, I-252, and Ignite environments for preschoolers, children, and teenagers. There will be a campus pastor, Guest Services, live band, other ministry teams, and LifeTeams for adults. The only difference is most weeks the new campus will experience the sermon through a video feed displayed on large screens.
